Notes to Current spreads

Current spreads shows the latest snapshot of the spread (no more than 10 mins old) of a specific currency cross and the average of the spread over the preceding 15 mins.

Notes to Historical Spreads

  • Spreads on trade sizes lower than 500,000 will be equal or tighter than at 500,000 at the time of sampling.
  • The average spread figures are based on discrete samples of the difference between bid and offer prices for the date range, time period, and time bucket (15-minute) shown on the chart.
  • Weekly (the last 5 business days) and Monthly (the last 21 business days) figures will include data from Sunday 21:00 GMT (i.e., exclude pre-market trading from 19:00 to 21:00 GMT) and end Friday 21:00 GMT.
  • For clarity of display of average spreads, average spread charts will not always fit full values for all Min-Max bars.
